About the congress
One international community.
A shared commitment to donation.
ISODP 2027 is the 18th Biennial Congress of the International Society for Organ Donation Professionals, organised by ISODP and hosted in London by NHS Blood and Transplant.

The society
ISODP.
International Society for Organ Donation Professionals, a section of The Transplantation Society.
ISODP’s congress is the only global meeting dedicated to organ and tissue donation. It brings together intensive care doctors, specialist nurses in organ donation, donation coordinators, OPO staff and leaders, tissue banking, researchers and policymakers from around the world. Kyoto 2025 drew 539 registrations and 253 abstracts from every inhabited continent.

Your London host
NHS Blood and Transplant
NHS Blood and Transplant is one of the largest organ and tissue donation and transplantation organisations in the world. It runs organ donation and transplantation across the whole of the UK: the NHS Organ Donor Register, the specialist nurses who support families at the bedside, organ retrieval and allocation, and tissue and eye services, working with every transplant centre in the country. Its national data, research and professional education are shared with the donation community worldwide, which makes London a natural home for ISODP 2027.
